WHO WE ARE

The founder was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She was educated and ended up positively developed despite multiple obstacles as a black woman reared in the 70’s. She came from a broken home so she knows about suffering, lack, and grief. Nevertheless, she was taught by her grandmother, Miss Lena Mae , to love and serve those who need it the most. This lead the founder to serve faithfully at her Christian church and various non-profit organizations such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. for well over two decades but knew it was not enough to make the impact that’s required in this day and age.

Hence, during the pandemic when things got worse for black people, Eco-Overflowing Bamboo Paper Products was launched because of the bath tissue shortage crisis. Many people went without this necessary resource for months; especially in the inner cities. After much research, it was discovered that this shortage has many tentacles. There is an overuse of wood related to the enormous amount of trees destroyed to produce goods. However, there is a viable solution to this issue; bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource.

The bamboo plant is one of the world’s fastest growing plants. It’s a nature-based solution without pesticides. This proactive approach will support the balancing of our natural resources and allow trees to mature and reset. Not only are we good stewards of our earth resources but this company is also focused on creating jobs for black people who lead this nation in poverty, incarceration, recidivism, and high unemployment. This movement of positive change will NOT be stopped because the overflowing is not only bamboo but divine influence backed in holy scriptures. The product’s packaging has printed holy scriptures for encouragement as the landscape of this country will be transformed for black people who desperately need special support.
